A-Shares Close Higher as Humanoid Robots and AI Hardware Lead Gains
China’s A-share market closed broadly higher, with more than 4,100 stocks advancing and the ChiNext Index up 3.4%. The humanoid robot concept surged: Fullhan Microelectronics and Danghong Technology rose 20% to their limit-up ceilings, while Dafeng Industrial, Wanxiang Qianchao, Wuzhou Xinchun and more than ten other stocks hit 10% limit-up. Unitree Robotics gained over 8%. The rally followed Shanghai’s proposal to deploy 8,000 humanoid robots in factories by 2028, reinforcing expectations for accelerated industrial adoption. AI hardware shares also remained strong, helping lift the broader market. The 20% limit applies to ChiNext and STAR Market stocks, while the 10% limit applies to main-board shares. Investors are watching whether pilot deployments can translate into orders and scalable production.
