Two-session limit-up Huguang Co clarifies robot assembly role for Shangwei New Materials
On October 27, Huguang Co. (605333.SH) announced that its shares had recorded a cumulative closing-price deviation of more than 20% over three consecutive trading days—October 23, 26 and 27—triggering an abnormal-volatility notice. The company said its fundamentals had not changed materially.
The announcement also flagged risks from the recent rally, including an excessive short-term share-price gain, declining operating performance and a relatively high turnover rate. It reminded investors to watch trading risks.
Huguang also clarified its robotics connection, saying it currently provides complete-unit assembly and contract processing services for robot products from Shangwei New Materials. It did not disclose the scale, contract value or duration of the work, and described its role as a manufacturing service provider rather than a robot-product developer.
The clarification came after the stock, viewed as a robot-concept play, posted two consecutive limit-ups, drawing market attention to its business ties with Shangwei New Materials.
