A-Share Close: ChiNext Rises 3.4% as Humanoid Robot Stocks Surge
China’s A-share market closed higher, with the ChiNext Index gaining 3.4% as humanoid robot and AI hardware shares led gains. The ChiNext board, which lists many growth-oriented technology companies, outperformed the main indexes. The humanoid robot concept surged after Fullhan Microelectronics and Danghong Technology both hit the 20% daily limit. Shanghai proposed a plan to push 8,000 humanoid robots into factories by 2028, signaling local policy support for embodied AI deployment.
The AI computing supply chain also attracted buyers as third-quarter earnings came through, lifting CPO, PCB and memory-chip-related hardware sectors across the board. Sentiment was further supported by reports that Apple raised its foldable-screen shipment target. The combination of policy signals and earnings momentum kept robotics and AI hardware in focus, even as broader market conditions remain mixed.
