APEC Buyers Purchase Samples at Canton Fair as Guangdong Robots Expand
At the 140th Canton Fair’s service robot zone, PaiBo Robotics’ booth saw a steady stream of buyers. A Brazilian purchaser stood beside an H2 prototype and asked staff about its functions and delivery schedule. He is a long-standing customer: at the autumn 2024 Canton Fair he selected PaiBo’s T2 desktop robot, later made a dedicated factory visit, and placed an order for several hundred units. He has returned to the booth at every Canton Fair since then.
The on-site sample purchase highlights a broader shift in the Asia-Pacific market, where buyers are moving from initial inquiries to verified orders. For Guangdong robot suppliers, repeat customers and factory inspections are helping shorten sales cycles and build confidence in delivery capacity. At the Canton Fair, APEC buyers are using face-to-face checks of prototypes, functions and production readiness to decide whether to scale purchases, giving Guangdong-made service robots a channel to deepen their presence across Asia-Pacific markets.
