Robot Q3 Revenue Rises 9.87% as R&D, Overseas Expansion Accelerate
Robot Co., Ltd. (300024) disclosed its 2026 third-quarter report on October 28, with Shenzhen Business Daily reporter Chen Yanqing covering the filing. For the first three quarters, the company recorded revenue of RMB 2.437 billion, up 9.87% year on year.
Net profit attributable to shareholders fell 99.64% over the same period. The decline was attributed to increased R&D investment, operating losses at some associate companies and foreign-exchange losses, according to the report.
The filing shows that Robot maintained high-intensity R&D spending during the period. At the same time, the company continued to accelerate overseas business expansion, making international markets a growing focus of its operations.
The revenue increase points to steady top-line growth, while the sharp profit drop reflects heavier investment and external factors. Robot's emphasis on R&D and overseas expansion is likely aimed at supporting longer-term competitiveness and broadening its revenue base. The results come as robotics firms balance growth spending with near-term profitability, and overseas markets are becoming an important avenue for scaling.
