Zhiyuan Robotics H1 Revenue Tops Unitree and UBTech
Zhiyuan Robotics reported nearly RMB 2 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, according to financial figures disclosed by company executives on October 29. The company said the result makes it the highest-revenue general-purpose AI robotics firm for the period, giving it an early lead in China's crowded embodied AI market.
The disclosure provides a rare comparable revenue benchmark for China's humanoid and embodied AI startups. In a horizontal comparison, Zhiyuan's H1 revenue was well above Unitree Technology's RMB 1.152 billion and UBTech's RMB 1.269 billion over the same period. The comparison is based on the companies' disclosed figures and covers only the first six months of the year.
Zhiyuan also said the scale could rival Unitree, underscoring intensifying competition in the sector. The figures suggest general-purpose robotics players are beginning to report meaningful commercial revenue rather than only pilot projects or research contracts.
Even so, profitability and deployment scale remain key questions for the industry. The revenue ranking offers investors and industry watchers a new yardstick for assessing which robotics firms are converting early deployments into sales.
