PaXini Advances 51 Embodied AI Standards Projects, Pushing Chinese Tech Toward Global Standards

Global competition in embodied intelligence has entered an era of 'standards-defined boundaries.' A self-reliant, advanced, and internationally recognized standards system has become central to China's tech competitiveness. Standards derive from engineering practice but also shape national competitiveness. Under national strategic planning and regulatory coordination, PaXini has taken on the mission of serving embodied intelligence standards development.

Leveraging China's complete supply chain, rich application scenarios, and rapidly iterating products, PaXini is translating cutting-edge R&D and frontline engineering experience into 'standard language.' It aims to fill domestic technical specification gaps and contribute Chinese proposals to global industry negotiations, supporting China's participation in global rule-making.

As a key participant in China's embodied intelligence standardization, PaXini has led or participated in 51 international, national, and industry standards projects to date: 1 international, 32 national, and 18 industry standards. These cover perception, data, and complete robots. The company says it is using enterprise practice to help build a world-class standards system that can withstand scrutiny and be promoted internationally.

True standards authority depends on an autonomous system and continuous output of deployable, scalable industrial norms. Around key embodied intelligence technologies and foundational capabilities, PaXini has promoted standards projects in nine subfields, building a matrix across international, national, and industry levels.

Behind this layout is PaXini's long-term work in physical perception and a full-stack technology chain: whole-body physical sensing system, perception data, and algorithm applications. From product R&D and testing to large-scale data production, and from robot bodies to real-task validation, PaXini distills performance metrics, testing methods, and data specifications into standard language.

Under guidance from relevant authorities and coordination by standards committees, PaXini experts serve on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence Standardization Technical Committee. PaXini also serves as co-lead of the WG7 data working group and actively pushes Chinese enterprises' engineering experience into international standards negotiations.

Recently, two national standards projects for tactile sensors, led by PaXini as first initiator, were approved, launching China's first national standards series in tactile sensors. Several force-tactile specifications entered key national standards projects. PaXini is also deeply involved in developing an international standard for humanoid robot datasets under ISO/TC 299.

The embodied intelligence supply chain spans sensors, robot bodies, data, models, and application systems. Without unified rules in any link, the industry's overall competitiveness can suffer. PaXini has laid out standards work around three key areas: perception, data, and robot applications.

On perception, unified metrics and test methods let different products be tested on the same scale, creating a 'measurement standard' for embodied sensing. On data, unified definitions, formats, and quality requirements break data silos, creating a 'common language' for embodied data. On applications, unified evaluation methods and acceptance criteria turn robot task capability into testable, comparable results, forming an 'acceptance sheet' for delivery and deployment.

When all links share a common technical language, standards become infrastructure for industrial collaboration. They turn repeated 'translation costs' between companies into industry-wide agreements, enabling efficient connection and validation of products, data, and applications.

As the global embodied intelligence standards landscape reshapes, PaXini says it will continue its mission of 'setting standards for the nation and building foundations for industry,' implementing national strategic plans and deepening standards development and application.

The company will take on the dual role of standards-system participant and industrial-deployment promoter, turning technical practice, data accumulation, and scenario validation into executable, scalable industry consensus.

PaXini plans to help more proven Chinese enterprise practices rise to national and international standards, promoting standards unification, data interoperability, and industrial coordination. It aims to strengthen China's voice and influence in global embodied intelligence standards and rule-making.

PaXini states that where the nation has plans and industry has needs, it will act. By using standards to support national strategy and technology to underpin industry, PaXini hopes to turn more Chinese practices into industry consensus and more Chinese proposals into international standards, contributing a Chinese enterprise answer to global embodied intelligence standards.
