Kinetix AI Raises Over RMB 500M to Build Highly Humanoid Robots
Embodied AI startup Kinetix AI has completed an angel+ funding round of more than RMB 500 million, according to LatePost. Vertex Ventures, a venture capital firm under Singapore's Temasek Holdings, participated alongside Fangguang Capital, Wanshi Capital, and other investors.
The company says the proceeds will accelerate iteration across its 'data-model-body' loop. That framework links training data, foundation models, and robotic hardware, allowing improvements in one area to feed back into the others.
Kinetix AI is developing highly humanoid robots. By tightening the data-model-body cycle, the startup aims to speed up product deployment and make embodied intelligence systems more capable in real-world settings.
The angel+ round reflects continued investor interest in embodied AI, a field that combines robotics, large models, and physical interaction. The financing is one of the larger angel+ rounds in China's embodied AI sector this year, LatePost reported, though the company has not disclosed further terms.
