Unitree G1 Cumulative Output Reaches 10,000–20,000 Units as Humanoids Enter Ten-Thousand-Unit Era
Unitree Technology has disclosed that cumulative output of its G1 humanoid robot has reached 10,000 to 20,000 units, moving the industry’s production benchmark from individual machines to ten-thousand-unit batches. While much of the sector is still celebrating its first mass-produced humanoid, Unitree’s count suggests a different phase: humanoids are beginning to be manufactured at industrial scale. The company says it hopes to become a long-lasting, century-spanning enterprise, with the goal of deploying robots in real-world industrial, service and home applications. The G1 milestone is presented as evidence that humanoid robots are moving from demonstration and early pilot projects toward broader commercial rollout, though questions remain about utilization, reliability and actual deployment at such volumes.
