Huixi Intelligence Raises RMB 2.5B, Shifts from Autonomous Driving to Embodied AI Chips
Founded in 2022, Huixi Intelligence originally positioned itself as a high-level intelligent-driving chip company. It has now completed RMB 2.5 billion in cumulative financing this year and is redirecting resources toward compute chips for embodied AI. The shift follows its automotive-grade Guangzhi R1 chip and signals a broader reallocation of compute demand—from cars on wheels to mobile robots. The company’s identity change reflects how robotics developers increasingly need high-performance, power-efficient chips for perception, planning and control. With the new funding, Huixi is expected to accelerate product development and ecosystem building for embodied intelligence, betting that the next wave of AI compute will be defined by machines that move, not just vehicles that drive.
