Kinetix AI is an embodied intelligence company based in Shenzhen, founded in July 2025.
The company upholds the technical philosophy of "understanding the world, learning the world, and interacting with the world," and is committed to developing highly humanoid general-purpose humanoid robots.
KAI stands 173 cm tall and weighs 70 kg, featuring 115 degrees of freedom across its body, the highest in the world today.
Its single hand is equipped with a 36-DOF dexterous hand (including 22 active DOF and 14 passive DOF), enabling fine operations such as grasping and pinching.
KAI is powered by a 1.7 kWh semi-solid-state battery, supporting approximately 3 hours of continuous dual-arm operation, with a dual-arm payload of nearly 20 kg.
Its body is covered with a tactile skin system featuring approximately 18,000 contact points, capable of sensing light touches above 0.1 N.
KAI deploys the self-developed "KAI World Model" physical world model system, forming a closed-loop architecture; it also features the self-developed lightweight head-mounted data acquisition terminal "KAI Halo," which adopts a "one-chip-eight-camera" headband form factor for one-stop first-person-view data collection.
The entire event was autonomously conducted by two KAI robots through dialogue and self-introduction, with no human host present.
The company expects to begin delivering humanoid units at a scale of several hundred units starting in 2027.
