Kinetix AI Debuts Full-Stack Embodied AI Matrix at Hong Kong Fintech Week 2026

Hong Kong Fintech Week × StartmeupHK 2026 opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre under the theme "Fintech Hub: Connecting the World, Building the Future." The event gathered financial technology professionals from across the region and beyond.

Full-stack embodied AI model developer Kinetix AI used the show to present a hardware matrix spanning perception, manipulation and data collection. The lineup included SMASH, a high-dynamics humanoid table-tennis system, and KAIBot, described by the company as the world's highest degree-of-freedom humanoid body at 117 DoF.

The company also showed the KAI Hand dexterous hand and the KAI Halo first-person data-collection headset, which is intended to capture human-viewpoint training data. Together the four products illustrate Kinetix AI's approach of pairing a large embodied model with purpose-built bodies and sensing hardware.

For financial technology attendees, the exhibition offered a concrete look at how embodied intelligence hardware is moving from laboratory demonstrations toward deployable systems, with dexterous manipulation and real-world data acquisition positioned as the key building blocks.
