Humanoid Robot Lines Ramp Up, but the Real Test Starts After the Factory Gate

Over recent months, humanoid robot production lines have started operation one after another, spanning China's Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. The build-out marks a shift from prototype engineering toward volume manufacturing.

UBTech's Liuzhou factory now rolls out one humanoid unit every 10 minutes, with planned annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units.

XPeng has also started up its first automated production line for high-order, general-purpose humanoid robots, adding a second high-profile entrant to the manufacturing race.
