Zhiyuan Humanoids Lingxi X2, Expedition A3 Join Macau Greater Bay Area Gala

Leaderobot reported that the 2026 “Bay Area Rising Bright Moon” Greater Bay Area Film and Music Gala took place in Macau on September 20. The event, blending film and music, brought together performers and audiences from across the region. During the gala, Zhiyuan Robotics' bipedal humanoid robots Lingxi X2 and Expedition A3 made appearances, marking another public showcase for embodied AI in entertainment.

Expedition A3 joined a livestream, where it chatted with hosts and celebrities, including Wang Zulan. The robot relies on Zhiyuan's self-developed WITA-Omni, described as an end-to-end, all-modal interaction large model designed to support natural multimodal dialogue. Its conversational role showed how humanoids can participate in unscripted media settings.

Lingxi X2 served as a backup dancer for Lin Yilun and Ren Jialun's performance of “Love Bird.” Its movement capabilities come from Zhiyuan's AGILE generative general cerebellum engine framework. The dual appearance highlighted how humanoid robots are moving from labs into live cultural events, testing interaction and motion under real-time conditions.
