Henan Expands Trade-In Subsidies to Include Smart Cleaning Robots
Recently, the General Office of the Henan Provincial Government issued the 'Several Policy Measures to Further Boost Consumption in Henan Province,' aiming to stimulate consumption potential by optimizing trade-in subsidy policies for consumer goods.
Building on the national unified subsidy policy, the province has expanded the scope of subsidized categories to promote consumption upgrading and the adoption of green and smart products.
This initiative is part of Henan's broader efforts to leverage fiscal subsidies to drive the consumer market, aiming to encourage consumers to replace old appliances with newer models.
The subsidy now covers products including household stoves (including integrated stoves), range hoods, water purifiers (including direct drinking machines and pipeline machines), dishwashers, clothes dryers, smart cleaning robots (including floor scrubbers and window-cleaning robots), and digital cameras (including action cameras).
Subsidies are provided at 15% of the final sales price, with a maximum of 1,500 yuan per item, and each consumer can receive a subsidy for one unit per product category within the province.
The policy is designed to lower the cost barrier for consumers upgrading to more environmentally friendly products and to promote the adoption of smart home devices.
Subsidy funds are allocated according to the principle of 'total amount control, first come first served, until exhausted,' ensuring transparency and fairness in distribution.
Meanwhile, Henan will actively carry out trade-in activities in communities, villages, government offices, platforms, and exhibitions to strengthen policy publicity and guidance, thereby increasing the 'subsidy acquisition rate.'
Through these activities, policy awareness and utilization will be improved to ensure efficient use of funds and benefit more consumers, ultimately contributing to the province's consumption growth targets.
