Longruan Forms Mining Embodied Robot Team With Peking University Institute
Longruan Technology (688078.SH) said on Nov. 5 via its investor interaction platform that it has established a research team dedicated to mining embodied robots. The team builds on the company’s patent portfolio and phased progress in spatiotemporal large models and machine vision, areas that support environmental perception, spatial understanding and intelligent decision-making for machines operating underground. The company is pursuing the work jointly with Peking University’s Ordos Energy Research Institute. For Longruan, the move extends its software and AI capabilities toward embodied systems tailored to mining scenarios. The initiative signals a focus on combining large models with robotics for complex industrial environments, where autonomy could improve safety and operational efficiency. The disclosure did not provide a timeline, team size or specific deployment targets. It did not name additional partners beyond the university institute.
