Haoen Auto's NVIDIA Domain Controller Positioned as Robot Brain
On Nov. 5, Haoen Automotive Electronics (301488.SZ) said on an investor interactive platform that its domain controller co-developed with NVIDIA is positioned as a “robot brain.” The company said the product can be applied to humanoid robots, industrial robots, logistics robots and other fields. It cautioned that the product has not yet had a material impact on revenue.
The brief disclosure did not include technical specifications, named customers, deployment timelines or production plans. Domain controllers serve as centralized computing hubs that handle perception, planning and control tasks, and the robot-brain positioning suggests the supplier is looking to extend automotive-grade computing into embodied AI applications. The update comes as automotive electronics firms increasingly seek growth opportunities in robotics, though commercialization remains uncertain. Haoen did not say which NVIDIA platform is used or when it expects mass shipments. The robot-brain project is therefore a strategic signal rather than a near-term earnings driver.
