Xieyue Intelligence Completes Angel+ Round to Advance Embodied AI and Home Robots
Xieyue Intelligence, a Chinese embodied AI startup, has completed an Angel+ funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, according to a report by The Paper. The round drew participation from Linear Capital, Junshan Capital, Hongyi Capital, Hidden Hill Capital and other institutional investors. The company says it will use the proceeds to advance several core priorities: training embodied foundation models, building computing and data infrastructure, expanding its core team, and developing home robot hardware and validating use cases. The funding underscores continued investor interest in China’s embodied intelligence sector, particularly startups pursuing general-purpose robotics platforms. Xieyue’s focus on both model-layer capabilities and physical robot bodies reflects a broader industry trend toward integrating AI software with real-world hardware. With the new capital, the company aims to accelerate scenario validation for home robots, a market that remains challenging due to unstructured environments and high safety requirements.
