Tsinghua PhD's Robot Begins Hotel Work, Backed by Shenpu Intelligent CEO Li Xiaofei

Li Xiaofei is regarded by investors as an ideal entrepreneur. He graduated from Tsinghua University, where he studied under a leading authority in autonomous driving. His doctoral research focused on combining AI with autonomous driving.

Li left academia in 2016 to co-found an autonomous driving company. There, he oversaw frontier technology R&D and the commercialization of multiple robots, including cleaning and logistics models. His work helped move those robots from prototypes toward real-world deployment.
