Qiyuan Robot Launches $19,999 Personal Humanoid, Prioritizing Companionship Over Chores
The consumer humanoid robot sector is shifting from small-batch prototype deliveries toward price tiering and scenario differentiation. Starting prices for models from Unitree Robotics, UBTech and others generally exceed 25,000 yuan, while Songyan Power's Xiaobumi brought bipedal humanoid robots below 10,000 yuan in October 2025.
On September 20, Qiyuan Robot, a consumer embodied intelligence brand under Shangwei Xincai, officially launched the Qiyuan Q1 and T1 personal robots, priced from 19,999 yuan with immediate shipping.
The Qiyuan Q1 costs 19,999 yuan and the Q1 Explorer 26,999 yuan; the Qiyuan T1 is 19,999 yuan and the T1 Pro 29,999 yuan. Deliveries begin October 1 in order sequence.
The Qiyuan robot stands just over 80 cm tall and weighs about ten-plus kilograms, designed for both approachability and portability.
Tian Hua told media that entering households is difficult, but that is Qiyuan's direction. Prototypes have already been tested in several thousand user homes, gathering tens of thousands of pieces of user feedback.
Internal plans call for product evolution through three stages: interesting, useful and affectionate. Prioritizing education, companionship and entertainment rather than directly tackling household chores reflects realistic commercialization considerations, Tian said.
If household chore capability were the core selling point, with chore intelligence not yet fully mature, mass returns would be likely and the commercial loop hard to close; first acquiring users through companion interaction and achieving interim revenue allows sustained investment in chore technology. He revealed that a large model for household chores is in development.
