Qiyuan Robot Price Falls Below 20,000 Yuan; Robot ETF Huaxia Turns Positive
At 14:44 Beijing time, the three major A-share indices were all higher. The Shanghai Composite rose 0.93%, the Shenzhen Component gained 0.63%, and the ChiNext Index added 0.77%. The CSI Robot Index, which tracks robotics and automation-related companies, edged up 0.03%, with constituent stocks mixed.
Among gainers, Junpu Intelligent led with a 9.18% rise. Kelai Electromechanical advanced 7.71%, Hechuan Technology climbed 6.64%, and Tinavi-U gained 4.34%. On the downside, Supcon Technology fell 6.64%, while China Southern Power Grid Technology also declined.
The robot-themed ETF Huaxia (562500) turned positive intraday. Market attention focused on Qiyuan robot, whose price is reportedly below 20,000 yuan. That low price point could make advanced robotics more accessible for service, education, and light industrial uses, potentially supporting commercialization.
The intraday moves highlight divergent performance across the robotics supply chain. While some component and automation names attracted buying, others faced profit-taking. The ETF's rebound suggests investors remain sensitive to affordability milestones and product launches in the embodied AI sector.
