BYD Unit Backs Huanchuang's Hong Kong IPO as Robot Vacuum Perception Leader
Huanchuang Technology, a leading supplier of spatial perception systems for robot vacuums, has formally listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The offering attracted two cornerstone investors: Golden Link, a subsidiary of BYD, subscribed HK$100 million, while Taiwan's Zhongrun subscribed about HK$10 million. Combined, the two commitments account for approximately 16.13% of the global offering. The listing marks a milestone for a company whose business is almost entirely tied to robot vacuum perception.
The company's financials underscore that focus. For 2025, Huanchuang reported annual revenue of RMB 614 million, with RMB 610 million—or 99.5% of the total—derived from products used in robot vacuums. This concentration reflects Huanchuang's specialization in the core perception stack that enables navigation and obstacle avoidance.
By last year's revenue, Huanchuang ranked first globally among suppliers of spatial perception products for robot vacuums. Its Hong Kong listing signals continued investor appetite for embodied AI components and positions the firm at the center of a critical niche in consumer robotics. The listing also provides capital for further R&D and capacity expansion as demand for smart home robots grows. Its revenue concentration also underscores how specialized the robot vacuum supply chain has become.
