350 Robots at Chimelong: Stumped, Exhausted, Learn to Lose to Kids
Chimelong and Zhiyuan have formed a strategic partnership to deploy robots at the Chimelong Spaceship Park. Initially, over 300 robots were introduced. Following the park's opening on September 24, more than 50 additional robots were added, bringing the total to over 350. The partners plan to expand the fleet to over 1,000 robots by the end of the year.
The Chimelong Spaceship Park covers 400,000 square meters, making it the world's largest indoor park. It receives over 10 million visitors annually, and since the Mid-Autumn Festival, daily attendance has averaged over 10,000. The robots are deployed to enhance visitor interaction and entertainment.
After a month of operation, the robots have been described as stumped and exhausted by challenging questions and interactions. They have also learned to deliberately lose to children in games, according to reports. This deployment represents a significant step in integrating robotics into large-scale entertainment venues.
