China's Machinery and Electronics Exports Rise 21.2% in Jan-Jul
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, exports of mechanical and electrical products reached 11.12 trillion yuan in the first seven months of this year, up 21.2% year-on-year. These products accounted for 63.8% of China's total exports, a 3.8-percentage-point increase from the same period last year.
Green and low-carbon products saw remarkably strong growth. Exports of electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and wind power generators surged by 71.2%, 35.8%, and 34.8%, respectively.
Other notable products included 3D printers, industrial robots, and ships, with export values of 11.2 billion yuan, 7.34 billion yuan, and 268.14 billion yuan, growing by 110%, 13.2%, and 32.7%, respectively.
