Central China's Largest Robot Delivery: 100 Patrol Robots Handed Over in Optics Valley
On the afternoon of August 6, nearly 100 industrial patrol robots were officially delivered at the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in Optics Valley, Wuhan. This marks the largest concentrated delivery in the robot industry in Central China to date. The robots will be deployed for security patrol duties in cities including Wuhan, Shanghai, and Wuxi.
The batch of robots was independently developed and produced by Chengxin Zhilian (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd., a local Optics Valley enterprise. According to Xia Ke, co-founder of the company, the first batch includes 30 units of the Patrol 1 series quadruped robots. A key feature of these robots is their ability to autonomously navigate to designated locations after receiving cloud-based tasks, with positioning accuracy reaching millimeter-level precision.
This delivery underscores the rapid advancement of robotics technology in the region and highlights the growing application of quadruped robots in public safety and industrial inspection. The millimeter-level positioning and autonomous navigation capabilities represent a significant step forward for patrol robots, enhancing their efficiency and reliability in real-world scenarios.
