China Accounts for Over 70% of Global Humanoid Robot Shipments; AgiBot Outshines Unitree in H1

Recently, multiple institutions disclosed the shipment scale of global humanoid robots for the first half of this year. According to IDC's latest report, global humanoid robot shipments in H1 2026 approached 25,000 units, representing a year-on-year growth of 432.1%. This remarkable surge highlights the explosive growth of the humanoid robot industry.

China's humanoid robot market maintained rapid growth, with shipments exceeding 19,000 units, accounting for approximately 77.9% of the global market. This means China's share of global humanoid robot shipments exceeded 70%, demonstrating its dominant position in the sector.

Another institution, Smart Analytics, reported that AgiBot's shipments surpassed Unitree's in the first half of the year. This change reflects intensifying competition among domestic humanoid robot companies, with the market landscape evolving rapidly. As technology matures and application scenarios expand, the humanoid robot industry is expected to sustain high growth.
