UBTech Ranks 11th on Fortune Future 120, Highest Chinese Company
Fortune, in partnership with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), has released the 2026 Fortune Future 120, a ranking of the 120 companies worldwide with the greatest potential for future growth.
UBTech took 11th place globally with a total score of 115, making it the highest-ranked Chinese company on this year's list.
The ranking focuses on companies' internal growth vitality, assessing more than 3,500 firms worldwide across three dimensions — growth ambition, talent density and growth culture — before selecting the 120 with the strongest long-term growth capacity.
American technology giants are also represented, among them Nvidia (16th), OpenAI (18th), Apple (55th), Tesla (87th) and Meta (120th).
A total of 11 Chinese companies made the cut, with UBTech leading the group.
UBTech's deep focus on embodied intelligence and humanoid robotics has produced standout growth figures. In the first half of 2026 the company recorded total revenue of 1.27 billion yuan, up 104.2% year on year, while overall humanoid robot sales climbed 268.3%.
Full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robots were the fastest-growing category, with revenue rising 1,445% and unit sales rising 1,946.7% over the same period.
According to the latest Frost & Sullivan humanoid robot research report, UBTech holds the world's largest market share in both core categories: all humanoid robots and full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robots.
Humanoid robotics is a multidisciplinary, hard-tech field. UBTech has built up four core technology clusters covering an embodied brain, a humanoid cerebellum, a high-performance body and swarm intelligence.
As of the first half of 2026, its R&D team numbered 1,103 people and it held 3,112 authorized patents. First-half R&D spending exceeded 300 million yuan, with full-year investment expected to reach 700 million yuan; all core embodied intelligence technologies are developed and iterated by in-house teams.
In 2026 the company entered a phase of simultaneous progress across industrial, commercial and home consumer scenarios, refining its humanoid products in real-world settings. It is also working with upstream and downstream partners to build a supply chain for core components such as servo drivers, dexterous hands and embodied intelligence edge chips, as well as an application ecosystem, and has led or taken part in drafting several national and industry standards.
In September, UBTech's 10,000-unit humanoid robot super smart factory went into production, completing a full chain running from technology R&D to large-scale manufacturing and delivery.
Making the Fortune 2026 Future 120 list is recognition by an authoritative international institution of UBTech's technology layout, talent pool and long-term growth capacity.
UBTech said it will continue to refine its core technologies, expand into more real-world application scenarios and keep exploring the potential of the embodied intelligence humanoid robot industry.
