Westlake Robotics Secures Series A Funding for Embodied Intelligence
Westlake Robotics, a company specializing in universal brains for embodied intelligence, has announced the completion of a new funding round. The round was led by Haiyuan Fund, and the deal closed less than a month after the previous round. Within just half a year, Westlake Robotics has completed four funding rounds, accumulating a total of 500 million RMB in capital. The investor lineup now includes several top-tier venture capital institutions such as Sequoia Capital, Xiaomiao Langcheng, Henan Investment Group's Huirong Fund, and Haiyuan Fund.
The newly raised funds will be used to accelerate the development of a unified large model for full-body control of humanoid robots. This technology aims to integrate perception, decision-making, and motion control into a single architecture, enabling more natural and coordinated robot behaviors. The company's progress has attracted significant attention from the capital market, reflecting the growing confidence in embodied AI as a transformative force in robotics.
