Wanglong Deploys First SS713-Compliant Robot Elevator System in Singapore
Singapore’s SS713:2025, a specification for data exchange enabling autonomous operations among robots, elevators, and automatic doors, is described as the world’s first national standard for robot elevator use. Wanglong’s platform-level robot elevator solution has been deployed at Altez Apartments in Tanjong Pagar, one of Singapore’s tallest residential buildings, making it the first project natively adapted to the standard.
SS713 sets safety guidelines from the perspective of human-robot elevator use, covering robot-elevator interaction, multi-robot scheduling, and human-robot collaboration. It creates a clear safety baseline for robots using elevators. Singapore is also pushing to upgrade SS713 into an ISO international standard, giving Chinese robot makers a compliance reference for overseas markets. The safety-first approach aligns with Wanglong’s “robot highway” product concept.
Wanglong’s system relies on an intelligent elevator platform to control elevators and actively navigate robots, maintaining two-way interaction to prevent pinching and collisions. It is compatible with elevators and robots from all brands and supports unified scheduling of multiple robots. One system can serve mixed human-robot use and an exclusive mode in which humanoid robots or robot dogs use elevators separately, improving safety and allowing robots to move smoothly between floors.
Beyond the Altez project, Wanglong is advancing overseas projects, with robot highways now open in Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. Unlike single-robot-per-elevator “single-plank bridge” approaches, Wanglong’s robot highway is designed to support large robot fleets safely and efficiently, addressing congestion, low efficiency, and safety risks while balancing high safety with operational benefits for robots, residents, and society.
01. Vietnam BYD factory: supporting large-scale robot fleet scheduling. As BYD expands its global manufacturing footprint, Wanglong’s robot elevator system has already been deployed at BYD production bases in Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Huizhou. It has now followed BYD overseas to a Vietnam factory. Smart factories typically have large numbers of robots and dynamically concurrent tasks, with strict requirements for data security and fleet scheduling. Wanglong provided a private deployment that locally schedules robot elevator requests, enabling integrated scheduling and active navigation for large AMR fleets, avoiding crowding and allowing orderly queuing. The solution is adapted to high-intensity industrial operations and supports frequent, routine, stable and safe elevator use, creating an overseas smart-factory benchmark.
02. Thailand Delta Electronics factory: platform integration and global replication. Delta Electronics, a global leader in power management and thermal solutions, operates smart manufacturing bases worldwide. Wanglong’s robot elevator solution has been deployed at Delta plants in Dongguan, Chongqing, Suzhou, and Chenzhou, and has followed Delta’s globalization strategy to a core Thailand manufacturing base. For large global factories, key requirements include not only safe, orderly elevator use by many robots but also platform and API integration for unified data control, global standardized management, and rapid replication. Wanglong’s intelligent elevator platform is deeply integrated with Delta’s factory middle platform, embedding robot elevator capabilities into production management and enabling data interoperability and unified scheduling across global sites. After one platform integration, the solution can be rapidly replicated across Delta’s global bases, supporting stable and efficient cross-floor AMR movement.
03. Four core values for robots going overseas. First, safety and compliance: the platform architecture natively adapts to national robot elevator standards, laying a compliance foundation for overseas deployment. Second, rapid deployment and scalable replication through platform integration: the general solution adapts to elevators and robots of all brands, while key nodes are refined for each project’s elevator characteristics and robot business needs. This enables one-time integration, standardized delivery, multi-scenario reuse, and batch replication overseas. Third, cloud-based remote intelligent O&M greatly reduces overseas on-site service costs. The platform supports remote troubleshooting, rapid repair, and online upgrades without sending engineers abroad, reducing maintenance pressure for robot companies. Fourth, extensive benchmark experience at home and abroad lowers trial-and-error costs. Wanglong’s robot elevator system has been deployed at projects including ByteDance, BYD, Delta Electronics, nuclear power stations, CATL, Xuzhou Cigarette Factory, and Kunming pharmaceutical facilities. More than 200 robot companies, including DEEP Robotics, Standard Robots, and Unitree, have connected to Wanglong’s intelligent elevator platform. This experience supports rapid deployment and reduces trial-and-error costs for robot makers’ overseas projects.
Competition in overseas robot markets is intensifying, and going global has shifted from an optional layout to an opportunity the industry must seize. Wanglong’s platform-level robot elevator solution, described as building a robot highway, is intended to help robot companies scale in overseas markets.
