Nearly 100 Wuhan-Made Quadruped Robots Delivered in Central China's Largest Robotics Order
When a quadruped robot receives a cloud-based task, autonomously navigates to a designated location, and completes an inspection with millimeter-level precision, it is redefining the efficiency boundaries of industrial inspection. On August 6th, nearly 100 industrial inspection robots were collectively delivered at the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in Wuhan's Optics Valley, marking the largest single delivery in Central China's robotics industry. These robots, independently developed and produced by Optics Valley-based Chengxin Zhilian (Wuhan) Technology Co., Ltd., will be deployed in cities such as Wuhan, Shanghai, and Wuxi for public security inspection duties.
The first batch of 30 "Xun 1" robots were delivered on site, priced at over 100,000 yuan each. Equipped with LiDAR offering 360-degree horizontal and 59-degree vertical coverage, they can perceive a wider environment and avoid obstacles. Built-in infrared thermometry, gas sensing, and visual recognition modules enable them to 'read' instrument readings, identify abnormal states, and detect toxic or hazardous gas leaks within a 30-meter range with precision. Co-founder Xia Ke explained that these robots do not require remote control by a dedicated operator; they can autonomously complete inspection tasks, data collection, and alarm reporting.
At the delivery site, Chengxin Zhilian also unveiled the 'Xun 3' robot for industrial scenarios. Compared with the Xun 1, the Xun 3 offers significant improvements in endurance, climbing, and autonomous inspection capabilities. It features a 32-line LiDAR, can climb over 25 steps, and traverse slopes up to 35 degrees smoothly. Its battery life has been extended from one hour to four hours, allowing continuous travel of approximately 20 kilometers. It can also intervene by pressing buttons autonomously when risks are detected.
