Changying Precision Sets Up Robot Subsidiary in Yibin with 10M RMB Capital
According to Qichacha, Changying Robot (Yibin) Co., Ltd. has recently completed its business registration. The legal representative is Wu Liang, and the registered capital is 10 million RMB. The company is located in Yibin, Sichuan, and is indirectly wholly owned by Changying Precision (300115), a listed company on the ChiNext board.
The new company's business scope encompasses intelligent robot research and development as well as sales, industrial robot manufacturing, and the processing of mechanical parts and components. This move complements Changying Precision's existing robot business lines in cities such as Shenzhen and Dongguan, creating a more comprehensive nationwide layout.
By establishing a presence in Yibin, the company aims to better serve the growing demand for robotics solutions in the southwest region and strengthen its competitive edge in the industry. The choice of Yibin is strategic, as the city is emerging as a hub for advanced manufacturing, offering access to a skilled workforce and favorable logistical connections. This subsidiary is expected to play a key role in the company's expansion plans for the robotics sector.
Changying Precision, founded in 2001 and listed on the ChiNext in 2010, primarily specializes in precision components for consumer electronics, new energy structural parts, and intelligent manufacturing equipment. Over the years, the company has built a strong reputation for quality and innovation in these fields, establishing itself as a reliable supplier to leading global manufacturers.
In recent years, Changying Precision has strategically positioned embodied intelligence as a forward-looking direction under its 'dual pillars + AI' strategy. In 2025, the company generated approximately 184 million RMB in revenue from robots and other businesses. From January to April 2026, it shipped over 380,000 humanoid robot components, including dexterous hand transmission parts, rotary actuators, lead screws, and skeletal structural parts. These components are essential for the development of advanced humanoid robots, and the company's expertise in precision machining has enabled it to become a key supplier in this emerging field.
To further support its robotics ambitions, the company has opened a dedicated robot intelligent manufacturing industrial park in Bao'an, Shenzhen, which serves as a hub for research, development, and production. This park is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and is designed to scale up the production of robot components to meet increasing demand.
In Yibin, Changying Precision already operates a new energy battery structural parts base, known as Yibin Changying, which was established in 2021 with Wu Liang serving as legal representative. This existing facility provides a solid foundation for the company's local operations and has been instrumental in serving customers in the new energy sector.
The newly established robot entity is strategically located adjacent to this base, effectively adding an 'industrial robot + intelligent robot' piece to the company's existing precision manufacturing capabilities. This geographic proximity enables the company to efficiently serve vehicle manufacturers, energy storage providers, and embodied intelligence customers in the southwest region. By reducing delivery distances and lead times, Changying Precision can offer faster response and more competitive services to its clients.
The move also aligns with the company's broader strategy to expand its robotics footprint across China, leveraging local resources and infrastructure. With the new subsidiary, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for automation and robotics in the southwest, which is increasingly becoming a manufacturing hub for electric vehicles and renewable energy. This development underscores Changying Precision's commitment to innovation and its ambition to be a leader in the robotics industry.
