BoJie Co. Clarifies Early-Stage Businesses After Stock Surge
BoJie Co., Ltd. (博杰股份) issued a formal announcement on August 6, 2026, after its stock price surged cumulatively over 20% during three consecutive trading days (August 4-6), meeting the criteria for abnormal trading volatility. The company acknowledged active market discussions across several technology topics, including optical communication indium phosphide, semiconductors, optical modules, liquid cooling, humanoid robots, and MLCC components. This announcement follows a period of intense speculation about the company's exposure to these high-growth areas.
To address investor concerns, BoJie provided a detailed breakdown of its involvement. The company holds an 11.049% equity stake in Dingtai Xinyuan, which has reported losses for three straight years, so its impact on BoJie's earnings is negligible. Its subsidiary Bojiexin generated only 2.78% of total revenue in 2025, while Guanghao Jie's optical coupling equipment has not yet recorded any sales. Liquid cooling modules are still in development and have not been separately recognized as revenue.
Furthermore, Aodewei's net profit accounts for merely 8.93% of BoJie's consolidated net profit. The humanoid robot business represents less than 1% of total revenue. The company states that all these ventures are either at the initial planning stage or are operating at a small scale, and they have not materially affected its financial performance.
The announcement serves to clarify the company's actual business scope and dissuade speculative trading. BoJie emphasizes that investors should base decisions on fundamental performance rather than market hype surrounding these emerging technologies.
