RoboSense Q3 Lidar Sales Hit Record 595,600 Units; Products Join Nvidia HSB
RoboSense (2498.HK) announced on Oct. 9 that its lidar sales for the third quarter of 2026 reached 595,600 units, a new quarterly record. The total rose 220.9% year over year and 53.1% from the previous quarter.
Within the total, ADAS applications accounted for 450,400 units, up 200.1% year over year. Robotics and other sectors contributed 145,200 units, representing a 309.0% annual increase.
The company also said its products have been integrated into Nvidia's HSB platform. The integration points to expanding use of RoboSense lidar in embodied AI and autonomous systems.
The results indicate that lidar demand is broadening beyond passenger vehicles. While ADAS remains the largest volume driver, the robotics and other category grew more than threefold, outpacing the automotive segment. The quarterly milestone underscores the growing role of lidar in robotics and smart mobility.
RoboSense did not disclose revenue or profitability figures in the sales update. The company also did not provide a breakdown by customer or region. The record quarter comes as the lidar industry pushes to lower costs and improve performance for mass-market deployment.
