JD.com Opens First 24-Hour Smart Unmanned Coffee Shop in Beijing
On August 16, Qixian Coffee, a brand under JD.com, officially opened its first 24-hour smart unmanned coffee shop at Galaxy SOHO in Chaoyang District, Beijing. The store operates around the clock, with all coffee-making steps—from grinding and brewing to final preparation—executed entirely by robotic systems, according to the company.
JD.com said the initiative leverages AI large models and embodied intelligence to enable scenario-based empowerment within the coffee and tea consumption sector. This move is part of the company's broader strategy to build the world's largest physical world operations center, as reported by The Beijing News.
