Hunan Province Issues Plan to Boost Intelligent Robot Industry, Establishes Dedicated Computing Power Pool

On August 17, the General Office of the People's Government of Hunan Province released the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the Intelligent Robot Industry." This policy document outlines ambitious goals for the province's intelligent robot sector, aiming to position Hunan as a key player in the domestic robotics landscape.

The opinions set a target for the industry chain's revenue to surpass 100 billion yuan by 2028. They also emphasize significant improvements in key basic materials, advanced manufacturing processes, and core components. To achieve this, the province plans to cultivate about five chain-leader enterprises and foster a batch of specialized and innovative supporting companies, creating a robust industrial ecosystem.

Notably, the province intends to establish a dedicated computing power pool for robots, ensuring that the industry has access to necessary computational resources. This move is expected to accelerate research and development, enhance the capabilities of local enterprises, and drive the overall growth of the intelligent robot industry in Hunan.
