Unitree Opens IPO Subscription, Hong Kong Robot Stocks Surge
On August 10, Unitree Technology, dubbed the "first humanoid robot stock" on A-shares, kicked off its online and offline subscription process. The issue price was set at 150.80 yuan per share, corresponding to a market capitalization of approximately 60.99 billion yuan.
This milestone event injected fresh momentum into the robotics sector. Hong Kong-listed robot concept stocks saw notable gains during the morning session, with HK Robotics (00370.HK) surging 9.26% and Hesai-W (02525.HK) advancing 3.32% as of press time. GAC Group (02238.HK) also posted gains, reflecting broad investor enthusiasm for the robotics industry.
The successful IPO of Unitree not only underscores the market's confidence in humanoid robotics but also signals a potential shift in capital allocation toward cutting-edge automation technologies. As the company's shares begin trading, analysts anticipate increased volatility and trading activity in related stocks, potentially influencing the broader tech sector's valuation benchmarks.
