Hang Seng Falls 0.17%; UDI Robot Surges 153.84% on Debut

According to Southern Financial, the Hang Seng Index closed at 25,274.96 points on September 9, down 0.17%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.76% to 4,420.79 points. In individual stocks, UDI Robot made a strong debut, jumping 153.84% on its first trading day. Lenovo Group and Weichai Power each rose over 6%, whereas Haidilao slid more than 9%. Meanwhile, JD Health, Meituan, Li Auto, and MINIMAX all dropped over 3%, reflecting broader tech weakness. The decline in the tech sector dragged the overall market, though the sharp rally in robotics names offered some contrast.
