The Robot Report Opens 2026 Robotics Startup Radar Submissions
The robotics industry is expanding at an unprecedented rate, with a steady influx of new startups bringing breakthrough technologies to the market. To help industry observers and stakeholders stay updated, The Robot Report is relaunching its Robotics Startup Radar for the 2026 edition. This initiative serves as a comprehensive guide to the most innovative young companies in the field.
Submissions for the 2026 Robotics Startup Radar are now officially open. The program targets startups that are five years old or younger, and that have developed novel full systems, enabling technologies, or distinctive business approaches. These innovations may span any industry or application, from manufacturing and logistics to healthcare and consumer services. All interested parties are encouraged to apply before the deadline of Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026.
Once the submission window closes, The Robot Report's editorial team will conduct a thorough review of every application. It is essential to understand that submitting an entry does not guarantee a spot on the final list. The selection process is highly competitive, aiming to feature only the most promising and impactful startups.
The previous edition of the Robotics Startup Radar featured 100 promising companies. These startups collectively represented a wide array of sectors, including autonomous mobility, humanoid robot design, industrial automation, and numerous other advanced domains. This breadth illustrates the dynamic nature of the robotics startup ecosystem and the variety of innovations being developed.
For young companies, being included in the Robotics Startup Radar can serve as a significant milestone. It offers a new platform to articulate and showcase their technological achievements. Moreover, it brings their work to the attention of prominent investors, seasoned engineers, and pioneering founders who could become partners, mentors, or customers. Such exposure can catalyze growth and open doors to future opportunities.
The Robotics Startup Radar is sponsored by Maxon Precision Motors and PTC, both leaders in their respective fields. Their support helps maintain the program's high standards and provides valuable insights to the robotics community.
