China's ChiNext Falls 1% as Tech, Chip, and Robot Stocks Slip
In Wednesday's session, China's A-share market saw the ChiNext Index drop more than 1%, the Shanghai Composite slip 0.08%, and the Shenzhen Component lose 0.58%. Sectors including computing hardware, semiconductor chips, and robotics were the primary drags. The sell-off was broad, with nearly 2,200 stocks ending lower across the three major exchanges in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing.
