Hong Kong Firm Launches Humanoid Robot 'Xiaorui G3' for Heavy-Lifting Tasks
On March 17, Hong Kong-based technology company Jiuguang Technology officially unveiled its new industrial humanoid robot, the Xiaorui G3, positioning it as a "productivity tool" designed to match the physical capabilities of an adult worker. The robot is aimed at industrial scenarios such as heavy-load transport, material handling, and precise manipulation, offering tangible value for industrial applications.
During a live demonstration at the launch event, the Xiaorui G3 responded to voice commands and smoothly lifted a 50kg barbell, then placed it accurately at designated points. The entire operation was fluid, and the robot maintained stable posture throughout, showcasing its robustness and precision.
According to the company, the Xiaorui G3 integrates a self-developed AI brain and a whole-body precision force control system, breaking through the operational bottlenecks of traditional intelligent equipment. Jiuguang Technology claims that the robot offers enhanced environmental adaptability and operational stability, making it suitable for a wide range of real-world industrial scenarios across various sectors. The launch marks a significant step toward deploying humanoid robots for practical industrial use.
