DeepSeek Invests RMB141M in Unitree Robotics IPO
Unitree Robotics has set the price for its initial public offering on Shanghai's STAR Market at RMB150.80 per share, with a total of 40.45 million shares set to be issued.
The company's final strategic placement list includes an allocation of 933,900 shares to Hangzhou DeepSeek AI Basic Technology Research, the developer of the DeepSeek model. This allocation is valued at approximately RMB141 million.
These strategic shares are subject to a 36-month lock-up period, during which they cannot be sold.
According to Unitree, the selection of strategic investors was based in part on the potential for future collaboration in areas such as large language models, embodied intelligence, and robotics development. This move underscores the growing intersection between AI research and robotics hardware.
