AgiBot’s 110 Humanoid Robots Dance in Sync to Set Guinness Record
On October 24, AgiBot brought together 110 full-size Expedition A3 humanoid robots for a synchronized dance in Jinan, Shandong Province. The event set the Guinness World Record for the “most humanoid robots dancing simultaneously,” according to Jiemian News.
To coordinate the fleet, AgiBot used its Lingdong LinkBots cluster control platform alongside UWB centimeter-level positioning technology. The combination allowed the robots to perform synchronized movements and switch formations during the routine. Coordinating more than 100 full-size humanoids places high demands on timing, positioning accuracy, and centralized control.
The record highlights advances in multi-robot coordination for embodied AI systems. Full-size humanoid robots are harder to coordinate than small robots because of their weight, balance requirements, and larger movement range, making fleet-level demonstrations a distinct technical challenge.
AgiBot said the robots featured in the challenge will later be deployed in cultural tourism performances, public services, and research and education scenarios. The company did not disclose further technical details or a timeline for those deployments.
