DaMeng Robotics Raises Hundreds of Millions in Funding Led by Ant Group
On August 11, DaMeng Robotics announced the completion of a significant funding round, led by Ant Group, with existing investors also participating and over-subscribing. This funding follows a Series A round and a strategic financing round completed within the past two months, reflecting strong market confidence in the company's growth trajectory.
Incubated from a research team at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, DaMeng officially began operations in 2023 and is headquartered in Shenzhen. Previously, the company received backing from prominent industrial investors, including Inovance, China Mobile's Chain Fund, Lenovo Capital, China Merchants Group, and China Telecom, providing both capital and strategic support for technology development and commercialization.
The new capital will be used to accelerate core technology R&D, product iteration, and market expansion, strengthening DaMeng's position in the intelligent robotics sector.
