MOONS' Electric Says Robot-Related Revenue Share Remains Low
MOONS' Electric said in an Oct. 23 announcement that its shares posted a cumulative closing-price deviation of more than 20% over two consecutive trading sessions on Oct. 22 and 23. Under Shanghai Stock Exchange rules, the move qualifies as abnormal trading volatility.
The disclosure came as investor attention to robotics-related hot themes remained elevated. MOONS' Electric clarified that its main business is the research, development and operation of core components, modules and systems in motion control.
The company also noted that revenue from robot-related application areas accounts for a relatively low proportion of its business. The statement highlights the gap between market enthusiasm for robotics concepts and the company's current revenue mix, suggesting the recent share-price move may have outrun fundamentals.
