Ruidi Zhiqu Says Brakes Can Pair With Humanoid Robot Actuators
Ruidi Zhiqu (301596.SZ) said on an investor interactive platform on Oct. 19 that its electromagnetic brakes and permanent-magnet brakes can be paired with motion-control actuators in humanoid robots. The components are intended for use in joints, grippers and torso sections, according to the company. The statement was reported by Gelonghui.
The disclosure places the Shenzhen-listed supplier in the emerging humanoid-robot actuator supply chain, where compact braking modules are used for controlled motion and position holding. Ruidi Zhiqu did not disclose further details on specifications, customer adoption or volume timelines. The company’s remarks indicate that its braking products are being positioned for multiple actuator locations rather than a single robot module.
