Unitree's 20% Limit-Up Lifts Robotics Stocks as Physical AI Nears Breakthrough
A-share robotics shares staged a strong rebound, with the sector leading the market. Unitree Technology sealed a 20% daily limit-up, sharply improving sentiment and pulling capital back into robotics concept stocks.
By the close, the CSI Robot Index (H30590), tracked by the Huifu Robotics ETF (159213), had climbed 6.68%. Constituents rallied broadly: OPT hit the 20% limit, Orbbec rose 18.97%, Weichuang Electric gained 15.04%, and Leaderdrive and Haozhi Electromechanical also advanced.
Unitree's Wang Xingxing said physical AI has shown early signs of being "broken through." Investors interpreted the comment as a positive signal for embodied AI commercialization, reinforcing hopes that the robotics supply chain is shifting from theme speculation toward real deployment. The rally also points to renewed appetite for core-component makers, though the sharp gains may raise questions about short-term volatility.
