AgiBot Deploys Full-Size Humanoid Robot in Wuhan Riverside Retail Kiosk
After deploying more than 300 robots across its lineup at Chimelong Spaceship Park in Hengqin, Zhuhai, Chinese embodied-AI company AgiBot is extending its reach into cultural-tourism consumption.
The company has formed a deep collaboration with Wuhan Culture & Tourism Group and Zhongyun Weixun to build what it describes as the world's first smart retail warehouse using a full-size bipedal humanoid robot.
Under the project, the Yuanzheng A3 Ultra full-size humanoid has begun real-scenario commercial operation at the “Jiangyu” bridge-pier film camp on Hankou Jiangtan, a riverside area in Wuhan.
The deployment tests humanoid robots in retail service, visitor interaction, guided display, and product delivery, combining embodied AI with riverside cultural-tourism consumption. AgiBot says the project explores a commercial path for humanoid robots in smart retail and marks further progress in scaling such applications in cultural-tourism retail scenarios.
The Wuhan site follows the Zhuhai deployment as part of AgiBot's push to move humanoid robots from demonstrations into paid, continuous commercial use.
