Qianjue Robotics Raises Hundreds of Millions in Two Strategic Funding Rounds
Qianjue Robotics, a Shanghai-based developer of embodied tactile sensing technology, announced today that it has completed two consecutive strategic funding rounds totaling several hundred million yuan. The move follows an earlier financing round in the hundred-million-yuan range, underscoring sustained investor interest in the company's tactile-sensing approach.
The earlier round attracted backing from an embodied-intelligence industry investor, Tianji Capital and Jide Electric. Qianjue's current shareholders now include financial investors such as Hillhouse Venture Capital, Oriza Origin and Futeng Capital, alongside industrial and embodied-AI players including Li Auto, AgiBot and Jide Electric.
Qianjue said the new capital will be used mainly for product upgrades. The company has not disclosed the exact size or valuation of the latest rounds, but the participation of both financial and industrial investors points to growing confidence in tactile perception as a foundation for dexterous robot manipulation.
Tactile sensing is increasingly seen as essential for robots that must handle diverse objects in unstructured environments. The funding also reflects broader momentum in China's embodied-AI sector, where automakers, robotics startups and venture firms are converging around next-generation robotics platforms.
