Quectel Develops Wheel-Arm Embodied Robot Platform for High-End Scenarios
Quectel (603236.SH) has introduced Q-Robotbox, a multimodal intelligent robot integrated development platform aimed at industry application scenarios. For high-end intelligent use cases, the company has self-developed a wheel-arm embodied robot complete platform. According to Quectel, the platform is built on its proprietary “large-and-small brain” collaborative control system and a multi-sensor fusion scheme, and is downward compatible with multiple actuators.
The offering combines a control architecture, sensor fusion and actuator compatibility to support modular robot development and deployment across varied scenarios. Quectel said the platform is intended to help developers and industry users integrate perception, decision-making and execution functions, while the wheel-arm embodied design targets high-end intelligent applications. It aims to provide an integrated hardware and software foundation for embodied AI robots. Both offerings reflect Quectel’s push into embodied intelligence beyond connectivity modules. The company did not disclose further technical specifications, launch timing or customer deployment details.
