UBTECH and Xiamen C&D Sign Strategic Deal to Sell 10,000 Humanoid Robots by 2030

According to UBTECH, the company and Xiamen C&D Inc. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Xiamen on Oct. 9. The two sides plan to establish a joint venture that will serve as the operating entity of the “UBTECH Ecological Technology Center Fujian Headquarters.” Under the agreement, they aim to jointly achieve sales of no fewer than 10,000 UBTECH humanoid robots by 2030.

C&D Inc. is a diversified Chinese company, while UBTECH is a major humanoid robotics developer. The partnership signals a push to scale humanoid robot commercialization through regional collaboration and ecosystem building. The deal reflects growing interest in deploying humanoid robots at industrial scale and highlights China’s expanding humanoid robotics ecosystem. It also underscores the role of regional partnerships in supporting deployment in Fujian and nearby markets. The companies plan to combine resources to advance the effort.
